Stellan Mörner (1896-1979) worked primarily as a painter and a scenographer.
A significant contributor to the post-war Avant-garde scene, his works were all about surrealism and fantasy.
Our first foray into his designs, called Comedin Går (”the Comedy Walks”), embodies eleven different colours of angular prisms that intersect and interlock in one stunning abstract dream.
The design was originally produced as stage curtains for the inauguration of Halmstad Stadsteater in 1954, where the curtains remained until 2008.
