Delivery Information

To make your shopping experience easier, customers ordering to delivery addresses in the USA, Canada, Norway and Switzerland, now pay the cost of custom duty fees, applicable taxes and brokerage/handling charges when checking out. This means no additional fees are required at the time of delivery. Everything is paid upfront.

Customer satisfaction is very important at Bemz and we take our customer requests/feed back seriously. Administering the custom clearance and fees are just one of the steps Bemz has taken to make your shopping experience easier.

Additional information regarding custom duties fees and taxes:

Ordinarily, when ordering Bemz’ products to addresses outside the European Union (EU), recipients are obligated by local government law to pay custom fees, tariffs and any applicable taxes. Additional surcharges and handling fees may also be incurred. Sadly, BEMZ has no influence on these fees but they can come as a surprise especially for those unaccustomed to international deliveries.

We regret that all other Non-EU deliveries are responsible for any custom fees, taxes or handling/brokerage charges wherever applicable. Bemz new shipping policy is only valid for the USA, Canada, Norway and Switzerland.

For orders placed prior to December 16, 2010 to delivery addresses in Canada, Norway, Switzerland and/or the United States, the customer is responsible for any incurred custom fees, taxes, handling and/or brokerage charges at time of delivery. 

For orders placed after December 17, 2010 to a delivery address in Canada, Norway, Switzerland and/or the United States, the custom fees, taxes and handling charges are stated during the check-out process and also on your receipt.

Delivery time is approximately 4 weeks after you place your order and that it has been paid. We manufacture all products on order as we do not carry items in stock.

If you live in Sweden, you have two delivery options: Posten or TNT.
 With Posten, the package will be delivered to the authorized Posten agent nearest you. You will pay 100SEK for packages weighing between 1-10 kg and packages between 11-20 kg cost 160 SEK. Packages weighing over 21 kg will be charged a fixed cost of 366 SEK. If you are residing in Sweden and choose TNT as your delivery alternative, the shipping fee is based on the exact weight of your products. Packages weighing 10 kg cost approximately 300 SEK to ship with TNT. The exact delivery charge will be automatically added to the total during the check out process before you pay. The package is delivered directly to the specified delivery address.

 Bemz subsidizes the shipping costs to the above EU countries. The exact shipping cost can vary slightly depending on the exchange rate and the VAT for the destination country.

The shipping cost to Norway and Switzerland is shown in your shopping cart together with the price of your chosen products. The final shipping charges are based on the destination country, chosen method of delivery and weight of the package. Bemz has now included the custom fees, taxes and handling charges in the cost of your order. No additional fees will be required at time of delivery. Personal information may be required for custom clearance purposes.

 Bemz subsidizes the shipping costs to the above countries. The exact shipping cost can vary slightly depending on the exchange rate. For deliveries to the United States and Canada, custom fees, taxes and handling charges are included in the cost of your order. No additional fees will be required at time of delivery. Personal information/identification may be required for custom clearance purposes.

Australia, China, Hong Kong, Iceland, Kuwait, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan, and the United Arab Emirates. The delivery fee is calculated from the exact weight of your order and is shown in your shopping cart together with the price of your chosen products. The final shipping charges are based on the destination country, chosen method of delivery by TNT for your destination, and exact weight of the package. Please note that Non EU residents, even offshore provinces such as the Canary Islands and Faroe Islands are responsible for import and duty fees, wherever applicable. To find out more about the applicable duty fees, please contact your government department of customs and excise.

If the delivery address is in Sweden, you can choose between Posten and TNT in step 3 from 5 in the ordering process. If you choose Posten your package will be delivered to the authorized Posten agent nearest you, where the package can be picked up during the following 14 days. When the package has arrived, you will receive an SMS message (specified by you) with pick-up details. For more information about Posten go to www.posten.se. If the delivery address is outside of Sweden your package will be delivered directly to your specified delivery address with TNT. Please ensure you choose an address where someone will be able to receive the package Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. When the package is on its way to you, you will receive an email from Bemz/TNT with your tracking number and a tracking link. For more information on your TNT delivery please call or email Bemz customer service at 0046 8 664 62 00 or customerservice@bemz.com.

Before you receive your delivery notice from Posten (sms) or TNT (email) you can email us any time at customerservice@bemz.com or call us Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM GMT+1 at 0046 8 664 62 00. Please write your order number in the email or have it available when you call. 
When your order is being shipped, you will receive a SMS from Posten or an email from TNT/Bemz containing the tracking number of your package and a tracking link. You can keep yourself informed by using the homepages of our delivery partners : www.posten.se or www.tnt.com.

TNT delivers weekdays during business hours and delivery times cannot be pre-booked. For these reasons we strongly recommend you provide us with a delivery address where you will be available to receive the package between Monday and Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Perhaps your work address is the best delivery address? Please remember to indicate the company name and, if applicable, gate codes, suite, floor or department numbers, and if necessary please inform the doorkeeper or receiving department. We highly recommend including your mobile/cell phone number when ordering if possible. TNT delivery policies differ from country to country, your local TNT agent will either call you in advance to arrange for the delivery of the package or they will attempt to deliver the package once and leave a notification with a toll free number for you to call to arrange a new delivery. If you were unavailable at the time of delivery we suggest contacting TNT with your tracking number to arrange the delivery of the package to the address of your choice. If TNT is unable to deliver the package or unable to contact you after several attempts, they will return the package to Bemz.

Please note for deliveries to the United States: custom fees, tariffs and taxes are included in the shipping and handling cost paid at the time of purchase. For custom clearance purposes, personal information such as your Social Security Number may be required at the time of delivery. According to TNT, "Because the commodity of the item is fabric TNT must make a formal declaration to U.S customs. This formal declaration, requires that the importer pay U.S customs duties and taxes. Bemz takes the cost of these custom fees at the time of purchase and processes the custom fees via our account with TNT.  The reason TNT requires the Social Security number is because the customs entry is done using the U.S importer's name and information. The Social Security number would provide U.S customs with the evidence that the importer is a legal resident of the U.S and is permitted to import goods. Every entry done for a U.S importer is driven by their unique IRS or Social Security number."

Bemz’ delivery partner, TNT, delivers only to physical addresses. Bemz is unable to deliver to Post Office boxes and/or Military Post Offices.

Islands outside of European Continent such as but not limited to Cyprus, Canary Islands, Channel Islands and Faroe Islands are not considered part of European Continent. Therefore, these destinations may not qualify for the lower shipping fees. Where applicable, customers are responsible for any custom duty fees and/or taxes for offshore island deliveries. 

At this time, Bemz is unable to ship to oversea regions and/or territories of countries. This may include but is not limited to: Martinique, Barbados Antilles, Porto Rico. Please contact customerservice@bemz.com if you are unsure of the delivery options to your destination.
